I'm Back! | Life Update
Wow, has it really been almost three years since I’ve published a blog post, and over four years since I’ve published a YouTube video?! That is INSANE.
Before I update you on everything that has happened in these last three years, as far as my life and virtual assistant business, I want to thank all of you. THANK YOU so much for reading my blog, subscribing to my YouTube channel, for the messages/comments/DMs, and your overall support!
Business Update
One of the top questions I get is: are you still a virtual assistant?
And the answer is yes… sort of. I haven’t really called myself a virtual assistant since niching down to content creation and helping mompreneurs simplify their business. But I still do a lot of the work that I did as a virtual assistant - it’s just that now I am no longer a generalist.
My mind is still blown that I celebrated 5 years of business on August 15, 2023!

In addition to my business, I also became a Communications Director for a church in December 2022. And I was able to land that job through my virtual assistant and content creation work. So as of right now, I work part-time as a Communications Director and part-time in my business, and it’s been fun (and a juggling act at times, to be honest!)
Personal Update
In my last post, I was a mom of two boys, ages 3 and 9 months. And now, those boys are 6 years old and 3 years old, and older brothers to their 1-year-old baby sister!
Sweet Eden quickly entered the world in May 2022, two weeks after Ezra’s second birthday, and the Lord truly answered my prayers again by letting me have a quick and natural water birth at my birthing center. Having Eden in our lives has been such a blessing, and I am having so much fun experiencing what it is like to have a daughter!
What You Can Expect from This Space Going Forward
A lot of you have been here since the beginning, and have journeyed along with me through the many evolutions of this blog - seriously, thank you! I feel like we’ve all grown up together in the last ten years!
As my life shifts and evolves again, now as a work-from-home mom of three, so does this space:
This space will now focus on my journey of juggling (and simplifying) being a mom while also running a business. Now that I have five years of entrepreneurship under my belt, I have a learned a thing or two, and would love to share that with my fellow mompreneurs! So expect to see a lot more on simplicity, mompreneurship, and some lite productivity for a little razzle-dazzle!
