Apartment Tour!

So as most of you know, we moved into our apartment almost four months ago. God has truly blessed us with this place: not only is it pretty big, but the rent is AMAZING!! Although it is no where near complete as I would like it, I think it is coming along quite nicely and I feel comfortable letting people come past the front door (hence the apartment warming). I am quite sure this place is going to look a bit different in the passing months, but I wanted to let y'all get a glimpse of our apartment since you guys are pretty much family. So here it is!

We'll start with the entrance:

The two doors on the left is my brother's room (he currently lives with us until he goes back to school next month) and the other door is his bathroom. To the right (not pictured) is the coat closet where Toby immediately put most of my shoes. He's lucky I'm too lazy to move them to our closet!

The beginnings of my little tea station!

I wish I would have taken pictures of our kitchen, but I am in love with the black appliances and cabinets! Our laundry room is also closed off back there and we were blessed by our friends Jada and her husband Stephan with both a washer and dryer! Thank the Lord for big laundry rooms, aka our storage room too, ha!

Because our living room is quite large, this is the hardest room to fully get together at the moment. I still need to find a rug, a bookcase, and more stuff to hang on the walls. But I still think it's coming together nicely!

Jada and Stephan also blessed us with the couch and love seat, along with a few throw pillows for the couch. Talk about one of the comfiest couches I have ever sat on! I have had the black cubed organizer for a couple of years back from when I got my first apartment. I found the table last minute the day before our apartment warming. The big picture was a wedding gift from my best friend, Nigeria.

I love this little nook that I will eventually use as an office once I actually start hanging out in there! This little area gets the most light out of the entire apartment since we face the back. Around 8 a.m. until about 9 a.m. is seriously my favorite time of day now because of the amount of light that burst in! I seriously can't wait to get this spot looking the way I envision it.

On to our bedroom!

Most of the stuff in here is my old stuff from my apartments when I was in college. We both can't wait to get new bedroom furniture so we can transfer this to our guest room. But we are grateful our bed is comfy because I bought the mattress only four years ago. I can't wait to get some stuff on the walls and to find lampshades that I actually like!

Well, that is our humble abode! If you see a rug or lampshades that I would like or any type of decor that you think would match my place, feel free to tag me on Instagram (@tifferbee).
